Auckland Retreat weekend

I have been discussing with some of the Auckland lacemakers the possibility of holding a lacemaking retreat - a low key event with the opportunity to make lace for a weekend and not be distracted by the day to day stuff that is ever present at home including worrying about meals. I realise this is short notice but we would love to have some of you join us.

Venue: St Francis Retreat Centre - 50 Hillsborough Road, Hillsborough, Auckland

Dates: 16th - 18th Sept

The weekend costs $300.00 from 5pm Friday until Sunday 4pm. Includes 3 meals per day plus morning and afternoon tea. Special diets (within reason) will be available. Accommodation is in single rooms with own hand basin and shared bathroom facilities. The facility will probably be shared with other groups but we will have exclusive use of a room to meet during the day and evening.

Please let me know by Saturday 20th August if you are interested so that I can confirm a booking.
